                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSING OF OLD HIXSON PIKE, MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, ON SATURDAY,
                   MARCH 14, 1992, FOR THE PRESENTATION OF THE
                   "HIXSON 5K RUN" UNDER THE SPONSORSHIP OF THE
                   KIWANIS CLUB OF HIXSON.

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of Old Hixson Pike between Middle Valley Road
       and Adams Road on Saturday, March 14, 1992 from 9:30 a.m. to 
11:30
       a.m. for the presentation of the "Hixson 5K Run" under the
       sponsorship of the Kiwanis Club of Hixson provided that the
       sponsor shall set out and pick up all barricades and traffic 
signs
       in accordance with the traffic control plan attached hereto and
       shall provide at all times an access lane for emergency vehicles.
